Songpyeon to Celebrate Korean Thanksgiving

Ingredients

  • 1/4

    cup Blueberry purée
    boiled and mashed

    tsp Boiled water with avocado pit and skin

    tsp Boiled water with orange peel
  • 1
    tbsp Honey

    tbsp Crushed sesame

Instructions

Purple Dough 1/4 cup Blueberry purée (boiled and mashed) 1.5 cups Rice flour 1/4 tsp Salt

Pink Dough (for flower decoration) 1.5 tsp Boiled water with avocado pit and skin 2 tbsp Rice flour 1 pinch Salt

Yellow Dough (for flower decoration) 1.5 tsp Boiled water with orange peel 1 tbsp Rice flour 1 pinch Salt

Filling 3 tbsp Crushed sesame 1 tbsp Honey

Create songpyeon by taking a piece of purple dough, rolling in to a ball, making thumbprint, adding filling, rolling again and pinching creases on top.

Steam songpyeons on medium-high for 30 min and then low heat for 5 min

Brush sesame oil on top and then enjoy!
