Sesame Celery and Tofu Salad
- 1.5cups Dried tofu stripscan also sub with fresh firm tofu
- 3sticks Celerycut into 4 inch length or sized to your preference
- 1-2tbsp Sesame oil
- 2tsp Light soy sauce
- sprinkle Cayenne pepper
We are making a simple and delicious plant-based dish today.
Put the tofu strips into a bowl and soak in boiling water for around 10 minutes until softened. Drain and drizzle with half the sesame oil, leave to one side.
Cut the celery roughly 4 inches in length and a centimeter or so thick. Combine with the tofu and toss. Add some soy sauce. Plate and sprinkle with cayenne pepper. Enjoy!
Udon with Chilli Peanut Sauce
- 1tbsp Peanut butter
- 1tbsp Chili bean sauce
- 2tsp Sesame oil
- 2-3tsp Light soy sauce
- 1thumb Gingerpeeled and chopped
- 1bunch Spring onion / scallionchopped
- Sesame seedsgarnish as desired
This dish is really simple to make with maximum taste!
Chop the ginger and spring onions.
For the sauce, combine peanut butter, chili bean sauce, sesame oil and soy sauce. Mix well.
To cook the udon, place noodles in boiling water. Frozen udon cook fast in 40 seconds to 1 minute. Rinse udon with cold water and set aside.
Stir the sauce into the udon, thoroughly combine
Plate and top with scallions/spring onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
