Ingredients

the sauce

  • 1
    tablespoon gochujang
  • 1
    tablespoon sugar
  • 1
    tablespoon ketchup
  • 1
    teaspoon sesame oil

the skewers

  • 1
    tablespoon salted butter
  • 12
    rice cakes
    blanched for 2 minutes
  • 3
    mozzarella cheese sticks
    cut into 1 inch pieces

the garnish

  • sesame seeds

Instructions

let’s make cheese and rice cake skewers

assemble 4 skewers layering 12 rice cakes (blanched for 2 minutes) and 3 mozzarella cheese sticks (cut into 1 inch pieces)

add 1 tablespoon salted butter to a medium sized pan over medium heat

cook the skewers for 2-3 minutes

flip the skewers and cook for another 2 minutes

brush with the sauce: 1 tablespoon gochujang, 1 tablespoon ketchup, 1 tablespoon sugar, 1 teaspoon sesame oil

sprinkle with sesame seeds and enjoy!
