Ingredients
- 6TaroPeeled and washed
- 1/2 lb Daikonsliced 1/2 inch thick
- 1tablespoon Cooking OilSautee daikon with oil for 2 minutes in medium heat.
- 1/2cup Top sirloin beefcut into small cubes
- 1-2tablespoon Salt
- 1teaspoon Black pepper
- 2tablespoon Soup Soy sauce
- 1tablespoon Sesame oil
- 3cloves Garlicminced
- 1piece Dried kelpCut into 3x3 inch
- 3cups Water
- 2pieces Scallionschopped thinly

Let's make Toran Guk (Korean Taro Soup) This soup consists of making a very simple broth full of umami flavors and slices of delicious cooked taro. Just a few simple ingredients and made in 30 minutes!

6 Taro (Peeled and washed)

1/2 lb Daikon (sliced 1/2 inch thick) 1 tablespoon Cooking Oil (Sautee daikon with oil for 2 minutes in medium heat.)

1/2 cup Top sirloin beef (cut into small cubes) Sautee with Daikon until browned.3 cloves Garlic (minced) 2 tablespoon Soup Soy sauce 1 tablespoon Sesame oil 1-2 tablespoon Salt 1 teaspoon Black pepper 3 cups Water 1 piece Dried kelp (Cut into 3x3 inch )

Combine all the ingredients and let it come to a boil over medium heat. Simmer in medium low heat until taro is soft and tender. 2 pieces Scallions (chopped thinly) Place over soup right before serving.
