Vegan “Chicken” Flautas

Ingredients

  • 8
    Tortillas
    Wheat
  • 2
    Cups Water
  • 1
    Tbsp Olive oil
  • 1
    dash Sea Salt
  • 1
    package Dried Pea Protein Crumbles
    or other vegan chicken or choice
  • 2
    Cups Spinach

Instructions

Vegan “Chicken” Flautas

1. Soak the plant-based pea protein crumbles (about 4 minutes)

2. Add it all to a hot well oiled saucepan. Cook the water down. Cook until water evaporates and meat looks like the consistency of cooked chicken or tofu.

3. Add spinach and keep cooking until spinach wilts.

4. Assemble the flautas.

5. Roll the flautas as show in the video.

6. Bake in air fryer until golden brown.

7. Load with your favorite toppings
