Ingredients

  • 450
    grams Daikon
  • 1/3
    cup Sugar
  • 1/3
    Cup Water
  • 1
    tsp Sea Salt
  • 1/3
    cup Vinegar
  • 1
    packet Naengmyeon Broth
  • 3
    Cloves Garlic
  • 1
    Tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 2
    Tbsp Rice vinegar
  • 1/2
    Asian Pear
  • 2
    Tbsp Gochujang
  • 1/3
    Yellow Onion
    small
  • 2
    Tbsp Sesame Oil
  • 1/2
    tsp Ginger
    fresh
  • 1
    tsp Salt
  • 1
    Tbsp Sesame Seeds
    toasted
  • 2
    Servings Naengmyeon Noodles
  • 1/2
    Asian Pear
  • 1
    small Cucumber
    cut into strips
  • cooked and sliced Beef Brisket
  • Pickled Radish
  • 1/2
    Tbsp Spicy Sauce
  • 1
    Hard Boiled Egg
    halved
  • Toasted Sesame Seeds

1. Peel 450 grams Daikon then shave to create thin ribbons.

2. Gather and squeeze out excess water. Set aside in airtight container.

3. Mix 1/3 Cup Water 1/3 cup Vinegar 1/3 cup Sugar 1 tsp Sea Salt and pour over daikon ribbons. Pickle in fridge for at least 24 hours.

4. Pour 1 packet Naengmyeon Broth into pitcher and freeze for roughly 2 hours, until it becomes slushy.

5.Blend 1/2 Asian Pear 3 Cloves Garlic 1/3 Yellow Onion (small) 1/2 tsp Ginger (fresh) 2 Tbsp Gochujang 2 Tbsp Rice vinegar 2 Tbsp Sesame Oil 1 Tbsp Soy Sauce

1 Tbsp Sesame Seeds (toasted) 1 tsp Salt

6. Cook 2 Servings Naengmyeon Noodles according to package. Rinse in cold water while rubbing. Continue until water runs clear. Twirl noodles like ball of yarn.

7.1 small Cucumber (cut into strips) 1/2 Asian Pear Pickled Radishcooked and sliced Beef Brisket 1 Hard Boiled Egg (halved) 1/2 Tbsp Spicy Sauce

And Toasted Sesame Seeds to serving bowl and enjoy!!
