Egg McMuffin

Ingredients

  • 2
    English muffins
    Halved
  • 2
    tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 4
    slices Turkey bacon
  • 1
    dollop Maple syrup
  • 2
    Egg
  • 1
    pinch Pepper
  • 1
    pinch Salt
  • 1
    dash Chili powder
  • 2
    slices Cheese

Instructions

Spread 2 tbsp Unsalted Butter on each half of 2 English muffins (Halved). Cook on a skillet until both sides are lightly browned, or toast in oven.

Melt the remaining butter on a large skillet, and cook 4 slices Turkey bacon. While cooking, brush 1 dollop Maple syrup on both sides of bacon. Set aside.

Place a round cookie cutter on skillet over med heat. Crack 2 Egg in, and break yolk. Pour water in to fill 1/4 cookie cutter. Cook/cover until egg is set (2m).

Repeat for second egg. Transfer eggs to paper towel to dry, season with 1 pinch Salt, 1 pinch Pepper, 1 dash Chili powder.

Assemble - place Turkey bacon on one half of English muffin, followed by egg, 2 slices Cheese, then top with other half of muffin. Enjoy while it’s hot!
