Kimchi Grilled Cheese French Toast

Ingredients

  • 1/2
    cup Kimchi
  • 1
    Egg
  • 1/3
    cup Milk
  • 3-4
    pieces Sliced Cheese
  • 3
    tbsp Shredded Cheese
  • 1
    tbsp Unsalted Butter
  • 2
    pieces Brioche Bread

Instructions

cut up the kimchi into very very small pieces. In a small frying pan, stir fry the kimchi for a few minutes to bring out the flavours.

Rip apart the sliced cheese and place on top of the two pieces of bread. Place stir fried kimchi on top of cheese then,shredded cheese. Form a sandwich.

In a wide dish, whisk the egg and milk. Press gently on all sides of the sandwich to ensure they’re sticking together.

Soak the sandwich in the egg mixture and let it sit in it for one minute (for both sides). at the end, dip the sandwich’s edges in the egg mixture as well.

In the same frying pan used to cook the kimchi, melt the butter. fry both sides of the sandwich for about 2 minutes on low heat, until it’s crisp and golden

Cut the sandwich in half to see the cheesy goodness. enjoy!
