Crispy Korean Sweet Potato Strings
- 1large Korean sweet potato
- vegetable oil
- kosher saltoptional
- powdered sugaroptional
Wash and peel 1 large Korean sweet potato.
Slice into thin strips.
In a nonstick pan, add a thin layer of vegetable oil. Let oil come to temp on medium high heat for 5 minutes.
Add potatoes. Since the potatoes are thin, they can burn easily. Flip often and cook for 7-10 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from heat into a bowl with a paper towel and pat potatoes to remove any excess oil.
Depending on if you prefer sweet or savory, sprinkle with kosher salt or powdered sugar.
