    Rice paper

Dipping sauce

  • 4
    tablespoons Almond butter (or pb)
  • 8
    tablespoons Oyster sauce (or hoisin)
  • 2
    tablespoons Mirin
  • 2
    tablespoon Garlic
    minced
  • 1
    cup Water
  • 2
    tablespoon Oil
  • 1
    teaspoon Sambal or chili w garlic (optional)

Filling - what I did

  • 1
    bowl Chicken larb
    using omsom sauce I made a bowl of chicken larb with green beans and scallions
  • 1
    slice Avocado
    sliced
  • 1
    Carrots
    julienned
  • 4
    Persian Cucumber
    julienned
  • 10
    Perilla leaves
  • 4
    cups Vermicelli noodles

Instructions

Prepare all the ingredients you want inside as fillings. Traditionally it’s with boiled shrimp, some pork or NEM NƯỚNG, lettuce, vermicelli, but get creative!

Get one rice paper and put it in warm water and twist to get it all wet. Don’t leave it in too long or it will get way too soggy.

Start layering the filling with the sturdiest structure like cucumber and carrots and then layer the rest. You can also roll once, add shrimp, and roll again.
