Ingredients

  • 2
    cups Rice
  • 1/3
    Korean Radish
  • 1.5
    cups Water
  • 1
    tbs Sesame seeds
  • 3
    tbs Soy sauce
  • 1/2
    tbs Sesame oil
  • 1
    tbs Korean red pepper flakes
  • 1
    tbs Water
  • 2
    tbs Green onions
    chopped

Instructions

Wash 2 cups Rice and soak in the clean water for 30 minutes.

Peel 1/3 Korean Radish (white part tastes better than greenish part). Cut thinly about 3cm.

After 30 minutes, pour rice & 1.5 cups Water into the pot. Put the radish on top. Cover and cook on high until boil.

While the rice is cooking, let’s mix the sauce. Mix 3 tbs Soy sauce, 1 tbs Sesame seeds, 1/2 tbs Sesame oil, 1 tbs Korean red pepper flakes, 2 tbs Green onions (chopped), 1 tbs Water together

Once it’s boiling, turn down the heat to low and cook for 12 minutes. Then turn off the heat & wait 5 minutes. Let the steam cook in the pot by keeping the lid on.

Serve in a bowl with sauce
