Ingredients

  • 3 to 4
    green onions
  • 4
    cloves garlic
  • 1 to 4
    Thai chili
  • 2
    tsp sesame seeds
  • 1
    juicy lemon
  • 1/2
    cup water
  • 1/2
    cup soy sauce
  • 2
    tbsp agave nectar
  • generous pinch
    black pepper
  • 4
    firm but not green avocados

Chop finely 4 cloves garlic (approximately 1 tbs). Slice thinly 1 to 4 Thai chili. Chop 3 to 4 green onions - but not too thin, make it a little chunky!

Squeeze 1 juicy lemon. Pour 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/2 cup water, 2 tbsp agave nectar, generous pinch black pepper, and 2 tsp sesame seeds in an airtight container.

Cut 4 firm but not green avocados lengthwise. Open and remove the pits. Cut into quarters, and carefully peel. Cut into large chunks and add into the marinade.

I like to add diced cucumbers for the crunch texture. Carefully cover with marinating sauce. You can serve immediately, or cover and chill for 30min in a fridge

You can serve by itself as a snack/appetizer, pair with crackers, make avocado toast or serve with warm cooked rice. Enjoy!
