Ingredients

Vada

  • 1
    cup Urad Dal
  • 1
    inch Ginger
  • 1
    Chilli
  • 1
    tsp Salt
  • Oil
  • 1/4
    cup Moong dal

Soaking

  • 5
    cups Hot water
  • 1/4
    tsp Hing
  • 1/2
    tsp Salt

Sweetened Curd

  • 2
    cup Curd
  • 2
    tbsp Sugar
  • 1/2
    tsp Black Salt

serving

  • Green Chutney
  • Chilli Powder
  • Black Salt
  • Chaat Masala
  • Sev

Instructions

Firstly, take 2 cup curd, 2 tbsp sugar and ½ tsp Black salt. whisk and mix well making sure everything is well combined.

Assemble dahi bhalla for serving: firstly, pour the sweetened curd over the vada.Also pour a generous amount of green chutney and tamarind chutney.

sprinkle chilli powder, black salt, chaat masala.

Top with Sev. finally, enjoy dahi vada or dahi bhalla chilled.
