Besan Ke Laddoo

Ingredients

    cup Ghee (clarified butter)
  • 4
    cups besan (course gram flour)
  • 1
    cup sugar
  • 4
    pods cardamom (elachi)
  • 2
    tbsp cashews (kaju)

Instructions

Firstly, in a large kadai heat 1 cup Ghee (clarified butter) and 4 cups besan (course gram flour). Roast on low flame until the besan is well combined with ghee. Continue to roast on a low flame. After 20 minutes, the besan starts to release ghee. *M

Place 1 cup sugar and 4 pods cardamom (elachi) in a blender. Blend to a fine powder. Mix well making sure everything is well combined.

Dry roast 2 tbsp cashews (kaju). Roast on low flame until the nuts turn crunchy. Add it in the mixture.

Turn off the flame and let it cool down. Prepare a ball sized ladoo adjusting sugar as required. Finally, enjoy besan ladoo for 2 weeks in an airtight container!
